November 8th was a momentous day this year. That’s right; Geek Girl Soup’s favorite cable station/streaming service turned 50!

It’s the Geek Girls’ favorite episode of the year… the annual rewatch of HBO’s “The Leftovers”! This is our 5th time doing it—not our 5th time watching, mind you. We’ve lost count of that. This year, we’re focusing on faith and lies, specifically with Keven and Nora.

It’s a Hot Vampire Summer—part 1—here at Geek Girl Soup! This week, we rewatched as much of HBO’s “True Blood” as we could fit in. Well, we watched most of seasons 1 through 5 and the series finale.

It’s May of Thrones, Part 2: Dracarys Boogaloo! This week we focus on Daenerys and her “sudden turn” in “The Bells.” We also spend some time discussing Jon and Sansa’s relationship in “Battle of the Bastards.” (Zig, Rickon, zig!)
