One & Done 6: Terriers Geek Girl Soup

What happens when you pair up an alcoholic ex-cop and his best friend who happens to be a former criminal? You get “Terriers” (Hulu), this month’s entry into Geek Girl Soup’s One and Done series.

Airing just 13 episodes in 2010 before being canceled, “Terriers” follows Hank Dolworth (Donal Logue) and Britt Pollack (Michael Raymond-James) as two unlicensed private investigators who take rather extreme license in doing things their way—which is not always exactly the legal way.

Chris has a hard time liking our fellas. But, hey, if you can root for Walter Walt, you can root for this Hank and Britt.

Speaking of Walter Walt, one bad guy is played by Christopher Cousins—“Ted” in “Breaking Bad.” Another is played by Michael Gaston—“Dean” the dog man in “The Leftovers.” Now, given our main dudes’ proclivities toward not-so-legal behavior, “bad guy” is a relative term.

This is a fun show and worth a watch. We are all totally satisfied with the ending. Cliffhanger! We love getting to imagine what season 2 and beyond would have been like.
