12.44 Barbenheimer

Last weekend, we were Barbie girls in Oppenheimer’s world! Life’s atomic, it’s so comic. Podcast without a care; listen everywhere! (Sorry, Ice Spice and Nikki Minaj!)

For realz, though. No Barbenheimer double features for us. Cort did see both films. Kelly saw “Oppenheimer” twice. Susan skipped ‘em both. You know, biopics. (Yes, “Barbie” counts as a biopic, ahem.) We do plan on dragging Susan to “Barbie” when Cort is in Houston in a couple of weeks, though!

So, our verdicts? All the love in the world, baby!

Spoilers abound. We discuss “Oppenheimer” first. We all know that The Manhattan Project was a success and that we dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. So, if you want to hear about the glory of the film, the acting, the directing, the score, the cinematography, and so on, then listen in even if you haven’t seen it… yet. Because you must see it!

If you never plan on watching “Barbie,” go ahead and listen to that part, too. Cort’s discussion will make you want to see it!

Next episode is Christmas in July (sort of.)

Next week: Child stars all grown up!
