12.36: Searching for the Truth in Air

Susan sat this one out since Cort and Kelly are discussing a biopic. We’re chatting about the movie “Air,” about the creation of the Air Jordan shoe and signing Michael Jordan to the fledgling Nike basketball division.

Susan avoids biopics because they present just one “truth”—and that “truth” may be a fiction. In the case of “Air” (available on Amazon Prime), the story is but one version of many—which we discuss in this episode.

We really enjoyed this film, directed by Ben Affleck and featuring Affleck, Matt Damon, Viola Davis, Jason Bateman, Chris Tucker, and Marlon Wayans. The soundtrack is awesome. If you were sentient in the 1980s, you will love the music!
